Tell your story…

This is a great question that I get asked a lot! During the full experience photoshoot I will make sure to capture photos of:

1. A couple different family poses

2. Mom and child(ren) separately and all together

3. Dad and child(ren) separately and all together

4. Each child separately and all together (if more than one)

5. Mom and dad together

If you feel there wasn’t a pose covered here that you would like me to capture please remind me during our shoot and I will be happy to try and accommodate it!

This is a great question! ALWAYS start with the lady and remember texture is always welcome!

For the ladies:

1. A knee length or maxi dress that flows and provides movement photographs GREAT!

2. A pattern or texture is always a great choice for the ladies!

3. High heels are not optimal for the locations that I choose to shoot at (just an FYI)!

For the gentlemen:

1. If the lady doesn’t choose to wear a print it is a good choice for the gentleman to wear!

2. I prefer no jeans and suggest and chino/tech pant!

For the children:

1. Photographs turn out best when you don’t have matching outfits.

2. For girls: rompers, dresses, two piece sets are fantastic! If mom doesn’t wear a pattern it is a good choice for them! If mom does wear a pattern it is a good choice to take a color from her attire!

3. For boys: button ups, no denim, and if dad doesn’t wear a pattern it is a good choice for them! If dad does wear a pattern it is a good choice to take a color from his attire!

I would prefer to choose locations based on my knowledge of timing, lighting, and your outfit style you have planned. We will discuss this a week in advance!

HOWEVER! if you have a location in mind I will be happy to discuss it.

My family galleries take 2-3 weeks to get back! I know how eager you may be to see your photos so I will provide sneaks within 2 days of your session!
